Asking open-ended questions to children, with answers that can go beyond the usual one-word answers like yes, no, and uh-huh, can help stimulate their curious little minds into thinking creatively.
Whether sparked by playful exploration or self-initiation, curiosity fuels emotional, social, intellectual, ethical, and physical development.1
