Tips to keep in mind before you start finger painting activities–
Make sure the paints are child-safe
To protect your child’s clothes from getting ruined, you can either make them wear an apron or have them wear an old, oversized t-shirt
Lay down a painting mat on the table or floor before you start the activity
To avoid spilling paint, consider using small disposable cups or paper plates–one color per plate
Keep wet wipes or paper towels handy to wipe off any paint that spills
Keep all things convenient so you don’t have to run around to find something after you’ve started, especially with paint on your hands
